About Me

I am 57 years old and have been married for 32 years, I have 2 children, my son is 28 and my daughter is 23. I have been listed on the heart transplant list since 2007. A quick history is I had 2 mi's in 97 the second one damaged my lv leaving a lower lv aneurysm. In 98 they put a ring around my mitral valve because of remodeling. In 2000 they put in an AICD and replaced the valve with a St.Judes mechanical valve. I have cardiomyopathy, chf, type 2 diabetes insulin dependant since 2000. In 05 I had complications from a cath and had a femoral bleed leaving me with a dead left femoral nerve. It took 2 1/2 years to learn how to walk again. In 05 I was also diagnosed with prostate ca. that was taken care of with rediation. The list goes on.

Occupation

I was a quality assurance mgr until becoming disabled in 1998.
