Just keep on keepin on., you will increase your EF and feel even better, although 30 is a good ways from 14 and you have to be feeling so much better. Life is even more wonderful now than ever before.

my Garbage can to the street, would have lots of pain. Anyway, I was picked to be a St. Jude Medical Poster Patient, went to Washington D. C. with my Doctor to talk to Congress about not cutting out research money badly needed. There I spent five or so hours with Regis Philbin and Jane Seymour and also talk to Cardiologist at Seminars and such. Now I spend time at home as this traveling I don't like, been there, done that. LOL

Guess I typed all the last comment will take. LOL. I was given a death date of October 19th, 2006 and on September 19th, I was picked one of six to try this optimization of a CRT-D. Only 20% of the device was working as they came from the factory with an inbot setting., this optimization was done on four computers. It set the device according to your health, your heart problem and this has made a tremendous difference in this device saving lives. My ejection fraction was ten. My heart very enlarge, more or less quivering instead of pumping. I could not bring my

Hi Diane, loved Jon's site., I too used his site a lot, was very disappointed when he couldn't do it anymore., was hoping someone would step up and keep it going strong., check it once in a while in hopes that it will.
Yes, I had a ICD for fourteen months before it was removed and replaced with the CRT-D St. Jude Device. Will give you a brief run down on history of this. I was on a Heart Transplant Work up when my Doctor told me he has something I may be interested in, would have to get into research. I go to the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans.

Howdy Burris! I too found that the implant has made a BIG difference....My children said I went from black and white to color. I see on your site that you were on the same site as I for Heart Failure....So Sorry to here Jon is not doing well!! He made an amazing impact on the way I chose whats meds and how I took control of my treatment . I found my voice and told my doctors that protocol was not for me, That made a difference on my longevity I think. Would love to hear more about your journey with this complicated road we both travel. Here's to a good day Diane.

Hi Diane, I have the same heart problem as you. A virsus settled in my Heart and damaged the lower part of it. I live in Gonzales, Louisiana. A small City between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I am 71 years old and have four children and twelve Grandchildren of which I adore and spend all my time with. I was on a heart transplant list until I ended up on a CRT-D that not only saved my life but, gave my life back to me. Its amazing what I now can do. If you are interested I can go more into detail, let me know how you are doing and we both have the same thing caused at about the same time. Have \\\\a nice dk

A Yummy Fruit That Lowers Heart Disease Risk

Finally a heart healthy food that’s sweet. Blueberries might be joining the ranks of oatmeal and fatty fish as a food you can actually add to your diet to help lower heart disease risk.
